PG: Steph Curry
SG: Michael Jordan
SF: Scottie Pippen
PF: Tim Duncan
C: Kareem Abdul Jabbar
I chose these players in part because I think they games mesh together. These are the players I would choose to start if I was a GM (this partially means I care about longevity with team).
Steph spreads the floor better than many older PGs (e.g. oscar roberts and jerry west), I really like Magic and John Stockton so this is a hard pick for me.
Scottie Pippen is a great defender and does not require the ball in his hands to be a good contributor, he also plays well with others and isn't going to jump ship, so I would pick him over Lebron. I think Lebron wins one-on-one against Pippen but its a team game and I have steph and MJ, I don't need Lebron's ego and MJ's ego.
Tim played both PF and C, but proved he could play PF with a dominant center when he won it with Dave Robinson.
