Truth is, most out of range kids(1000 mi+)* are a waste of time. A lot of Florida kid talk lately....and hopefully BYU
can grab a couple here and there, but kids like to stay closer to home. And that's what you see in the transfer portal way more than....this dude got a great NIL deal. It's this dude played at Disney World High School....so now that he tried out Minnesota for 2 years.....he realized he misses home and now he's going to UCF.
And our coaches know that. But our fans don't seem to. Whether it's Waller or that kid from Texas that keeps getting pushed on here.....if there is hesitation on the coaches part....it's probably for good reason.
*Not including Hawaii or International prospects. Those are different situations.
