Let's look at the 4 losses from the last two years
Baylor wasn't a matter of scheme. They were just better, more talented and able to overpower us.

Boise St (as discussed) was on the offense and special teams turning the ball over repeatedly and putting the defense in a no win position.

Against Coastal Carolina, the offense scored 3 points in the entire second half despite having 6 possessions. I should have to tell you that 0.5 points per drive would be worst in all of college football. In the second half, across 20 consecutive snaps, the BYU offense totalled 30 yards and one fumble.... I feel like that's not on the defense

UAB...yeah, that one was pretty ugly on the defense
