Pattern started in 2016 . . .it was THAT game that pushed him over the edge
I don't think there is a soul on this thread who has said Tuiaki is an elite level DC. But there has been a constant pattern of ripping on the defense when the offense screws up just as bad or even worse.
I remember there were complaints about BYU's defense in the 2016 BYU vs Utah game. The defense was able to get 6 turnovers, But it wasn't enough as Taysom and company had 3 turnovers and 6 total 3&out offensive tries. (4 punts, 2 field goal unit plays)

You guys aren’t getting it. He’s not saying the game made him think Tuiaki is great. It showed him that CB is much less
