I like Baylor, and I'm not trying to create conflict at all,
but I thought it was common knowledge that BYU was not invited to the BIG XII because Ann Richards (a Baylor alum and Texas Gov from 1991 -1995) made a political case for Baylor over BYU when the BIG XII was formed in 1994. Is that not true?
I mean, it seems at least plausible, and I wouldn't blame her if she was fighting for her alma mater. I have appreciated when people with clout have fought for BYU.
