BU is well represented and backed. The others, TT, TCU are pretty well represented. But especially UT and TAMU. They got Nebraska on their knees at the heiight of their power. A lame duck Governor and BU didn't hold many cards. It was always Texas and little brother always went along with them, till they didn't.

Do I think Baylor wielded all the political power in their might? Yes, I do. But nothing happened without Texas and little brother.
