A few more examples of terrible plot writing:
Anyone else wonder why an Imperial Star
Destroyer, with a complement of who knows how many TIE fighters and other ships, had to make a choice of which transport to pursue?
Luke would definitely have remembered that whole traumatic episode with an Inquisitor fighting his aunt and uncle then chasing him out into the desert. Later in Episode IV Kenobi shows him what a lightsaber is, but he's now apparently seen one. Sooooo stupid.
Reva, after two lightsaber wounds (and one fatal stab to the gut nonetheless), is suddenly basically healed up and all the way to Tatooine while it seems literally only minutes have passed because they’re still chasing the rebel ship…
I could go on and on. These are just examples from the last episode let alone the other 5.
