I know BYU is headed to a new conference next year and whatever but that's a lot of money for my budget. Especially after I upgraded last year. And my seats aren't great but they are the best I could afford right now.

And it's still to watch a WCC schedule this year with maybe 1-2 good non-conference games (Utah & ???).

And I'm not sold on the current roster and team being very good - my current expectations are hoping that BYU can be an NIT team. It seems like a lot of money to pay for bad basketball and last years team felt like the worst since maybe 2004-05 and I'm not convinced this year will be better.

But I absolutely love BYU basketball and a winter night at the Marriott Center is pretty much my favorite thing to do.

I know that I'm just a whiny fan that isn't willing to pay up for an elite program but this increase really seems to push it from an over the top indulgence to something I really can't afford. So do I head back up to the bleachers or just suck it up and hope that they don't try and jack up the prices again next year?
