The most recent BYU Top 100 plays (YouTube link below) was done after the 2020 season. I think there are several candidates in the 2021 season to be included in the top 100, including the Allgeier run v Virginia and 4th down stop v Utah (a short but good list for 2021 was recently summarized here):

I think the Allgeier pursuit and punch-out v ASU was the top play of the 2021 season (duh) and is a candidate for top 10 or maybe even top 5 all time. I know when the rankings were released 18 months ago by BYUtv they followed criteria other than “top athletic play” such as overall significance to the season / BYU history, etc, which is why the game winner v Michigan in the 1984 Holiday Bowl was included as #6. So beating ASU was a big deal in the context of BYU’s hot start in 2021, and Allgeier’s play was a big factor in BYU’s momentum and actually winning the game, but all in all it was just an awesome play.
