Why don’t backup QBs start in “easy games” at any level of football? Are QB1’s really that fragile emotionally?
Seems like it would be a good idea to have starters watch from the sideline for a game and give the backup some good experience so they aren’t tossed to the wolves if QB1 goes down.

Nice. He's ready. Good to have a solid #2 going into camp. He'll get more reps this way and will be better prepared.
