For years now I’ve been filling my burger with goodies on the inside. This one worked out great!
Started with 80/20 ground beef. Liberal pepper in the mix along with a teaspoon of crushed garlic. The burger is filled with sautéed onions, diced mushrooms, & blue cheese. The outside has more pepper & kosher salt. Just before it’s done, it gets 3 pieces of bacon & cheddar cheese. I really like these buns but obviously I oversized the burger and a little chaos ensued. It was still tasty. Second photo makes it look a bit rare but really it temped out at 135.
