At first it was only a few spots but recently she is getting a few a day. We took her to the Dr and they ordered blood work. All blood work came back normal. And after 3 Dr appoints and no findings the Dr said to just watch her. She has never had any other noticeable symptoms. No temperature, headaches, stiff neck, etc. She acts and seems totally normal other than the petechiae. With the spots continuing to show up I am getting more and more nervous. I'm wondering if it could be some sort of infection or worse but the blood work came back normal and the Dr felt we could rule out major infection, leukemia, and blood disorders. Anyone have any experience with this? We are planning on getting her into the Dr again on Monday and/or get a second opinion. Just wondering if anyone has had any experience with a child having petechiae with no other known symptoms? Or a professional that could weigh in on thoughts? Thanks!
