Texas Tech has a bit of a rival with Houston and OSU but really nobody else... plus they are closest in proximity to BYU.

Baylor/TCU and BYU... I mean it's a no brainer.

Yeah. Divisions are gone. Only decreases access to CFP for the conference.

Divisions might be better when trying to get two teams in a 12-16 team playoff.
