just said on the radio that he thinks that Stanford might use this situation to exit D1 sports and PK was told yesterday that Stanford may go Independant in football and head to the WCC in other sports.



All this just tells me that Stanford as a D1 competitive team is done.


Edit: I’m told down below that Locke is not a Stanford alum so it looks like I got that wrong but Locke absolutely has lots of connections to Stanford and use to live there.
