The ACC GOR deal keeps them from getting poached, for now. They invite West Virginia to give them 16 members like the Big 10 and SEC. West Virginia accepts.
The Big 10 is not interested in Oregon and Washington, yet. With West Virginia gone, the BIG 12 is in position to add 5 PAC 12 schools. Oregon, Washington, Cal, Stanford, and Arizona State accept the invite (the California presence is a big deal to the Big 12).
Things are great for BYU and not so good for Utah. But in another decade the rug is pulled out from everyone's feet again when the BIG and SEC tear apart the ACC and Big 12 again, once the ACC GOR is up and media deals are soon to be re-negotiated.
