Per Dennis Dodd on the OU/Wash
He was told that neither of those schools really bring the necessary earning power ($80-100M / yr). They were actually considered "tweeners".
B1G may not see them as additive so not sure what the motivation would be to add them. Maybe they stick at 16. Add ND and then hold out for the next round when ACC blows up.
B12 needs to push to add UO and Wash. Invite 2 more from ASU, UA, Colorado, Utah, Stanford. Get to 16 and hold for now. When the ACC gets raided be ready to pick off the best remaining scraps.

According to Dodd and his sources in the BIG, O is a brand but no market. UW is a brand and medium market
