Not saying other teams may not be better options. Just saying
it would really hurt if it happened. Anything is possible. Utah has been mentioned as a possible add on by a number of sports analysts. Utah has jumped BYU already by being invited to the PAC 12. A invite to one of the remaining supposed two super conferences would be great for them and devastating to BYU. It would mean that there really will be only two super conferences and BYU will be on the outside looking in like it has for most of its existence. I like being a future member of the BIG 12 even in it's current diminished state without Texas and Oklahoma. But the two super conferences would stink, but if Utah is in a super conference and BYU is not it would more than stink. But I would survive as well as BYU. Competition would still be a step up and being in a conference especially a nonG5 conference will be fun. I liked what another CBer stated. Expand the CFP and still allow the Big 12 and every major conference champion have a chair at the CFP table. This could save College Football.
