That was to gain markets in the old media market days, not to help those schools. Today those schools don't get an
invite and neither does Utah. Utah isn't additive - in the old day or now.

Why would Big Ten be willing to lose money in order to invite Utah. Utah doesn't make the pie bigger

Killing off the ACC makes the pie bigger because it gets rid of that TV deal and there's more money to spread around
