At the same time- I don’t think I’d be where I am if I weren’t “born privileged”
It’s true that individual decisions have a massive impact on success.
But it’s also true that people do have bad lots in life. I do think there should be some understanding that not everyone has the same social or financial resources that most take for granted.
I took a lot for granted that not everyone has access to in the US.
