1. A lot of Utah fans do think they have a shot at the B1G, but it actually seems like the majority are more realistic and understand how tiny that possibility is. Seems almost like a coping mechanism lol. The more doom and gloom ones are openly saying there is a chance they get left out of the conversation entirely and have to go independent or to the MWC. Big XII is generally seen as a distasteful but possibly necessary option (Not a judgement call, just repeating what I've read)

2. Oregon and Washington are both desperate to get out of the Pac-12, and are openly talking about overtures to the SEC/ACC. In my mind this is what makes the conference so unstable — the 10+Boise/SDSU/Fresno/X MW Team could still be a fun conference, but it will never be viable while its most valuable members are actively looking for a way out. Big XII is no SEC but its members aren't going anywhere and it really cares about the sport

3. There is surprisingly little optimism that anyone in the new Big XII would be willing to leave. Names like Ok St and TT are thrown around as expansion candidates, but most fans shoot down these ideas and say there is virtually no chance those schools would leave their conference.

4. ASU is convinced they're going to the SEC. I think ultimately cooler heads will prevail and they'll come to the Big XII, but for now they're desperate.

5. Washington absolutely loathes its athletic administration and has no faith in its ability to navigate the crisis. I guess it makes sense but I never realized how deeply rooted it was hahaha. A lot of fans are convinced that Oregon is working round the clock to secure a spot while their AD is "Thinking about cookies."

No concrete information, but I always find it interesting to see a situation through the lens of different fanbases.
