1} Put together a super innovative tv package. The conference of champions should have enough brain power to be able to think outside the box.

2) Immediately: add SMU & San Diego State.

3) See what it would take to pull Nebraska away from BIG (I doubt this would be even remotely possible because BIG $$$ but still at least have the discussion).

4) Also add: BYU, TTU, Oklahoma St, Baylor, Kansas St.

5) The final spot goes to either Nebraska (obviously this would be unlikely unless the $$$ was right), TCU, UNLV, Boise or CSU.

That gives you 18 teams and a solid enough conference. If you could come up with a tv deal good enough to sway Nebraska that would be great but even without the Huskers you would have enough staying power.

Pacific Division:
Cal, Stanford, Wash, Wash St, Oregon, OSU

Mtn Division:
Arizona, ASU, SDSU, UNLV, BYU, Utah

Plains Division:
TTU, Baylor, Colorado, SMU, Okie St, K-State

Yeah, it’s a pipe dream most likely bcs I see Udub & Oregon and prob Stanford to the Big but that would be my approach if I was the PAC.
