- The show has never been great about giving us emotional catharsis IMO. Felt like a lot of plot strands never delivered.

- We spent what, 2 hours over the season in Russia? And it never felt worth it. All so they could torch a couple demon dogs to maybe, sorta distract Vecna? Was never a convincing scheme anyway. Weak. Bet we never see Yuri or the guard again, after all that.

- No closure on the basketball team psychos.

- Eddie's death seemed entirely pointless. And Dustin's conversation with his uncle would just be a bunch of inane nonsense to the uncle.

- Did like that El wouldn't tell Papa what he wanted. Thank goodness he's dead. Tired of him after 4 seasons.

- Stoner dude still isn't as funny as they seem to think.

- Thank goodness Ted Wheeler is still with us.

- So, did that create a portal or not? Town seems pretty chill about it all. Felt like a post-hurricane cleanup, not a portal-to-hell-just-opened panic.

- Are we going to get closure on the psycho military guy?

- El's powers are a classic example of what Brandon Sanderson's rules push against. They come and go and ebb and flow according to the writer's whims. Could any viewer actually say what her powers are other than telekinesis? Or how they work?

- Also, feels like they still owe us a real fireworks show from her. She went toe to toe with a guy who subjugated a whole world (thanks to her usinf a powerful buff of friendship?), but when I thought she was going to rip the chopper apart, for example, she just kind of wobbled it to death.

- Enjoyed it, and the way they brought the strands together, but felt like the strands never should have been so far apart in the first place. Hard to say it was better than other big finals this year-- Succession, Severance, Station Eleven, etc.
