any Arkansas fans because he is such a good dude. I hope you folks have an amazing time (aside from the final score, that is 😉)!
As far as seating in the stadium is concerned, the visitors' section is about as good as a corner seat in any stadium. A seat between the 20s would make it easier to see in any stadium, of course, and if you got tickets somewhere in there amongst BYU fans, you might hear a good-natured heckle or two, but for the most part you'll be heartily welcomed (and if one of our few idiot fans - "there's one in every family," right? - give you any trouble, snap a pic and let us know on here. We'll take care of it.😈)
Sorry, no drinks. It's admittedly a weird thing. Don't judge us too hardly though. We hope to give you a game enjoyable enough that you will either be so happy with the result you won't need the buzz, or close enough you won't need to drown your sorrows if it doesn't go your way.
As far as nightlife is concerned, you will be able to get a good drink a lot of places near where you're staying, and there are decent eats around. A local burger favorite is a pastrami burger at either Crown Burger, Apollo Burger or Burger Supreme (they're all basically the same local chain), and for a good dinner, if you haven't been to a Brazilian Steakhouse, they're GREAT food, a fun atmosphere (and meat overload) and the local ones are a more reasonable pricepoint than a Fogo de Chao or Texas de Brasil you'd see back east.
You'll be there at a really pretty time. The mountain behind the stadium will be on fire with autumn colors (but hopefully not actually on fire, because that does happen every few years). The drive up to Park City is quite scenic. You might have a bit of snow on the tops of the mountains by then,
but probably not quite enough to get skiing in. Still, the views are spectacular.
I'm psyched for you guys. I haven't been back to Utah in a decade, and there is some great stuff. Best of luck to you.
