They dont control the AFCA. They can’t stop news outlets and media companies from making their own rankings. They don’t control all the media outlets, the talking heads, social media. They have no say over what half the country thinks and feels about being shut out of the college football championship. People will talk. The collective power of the remaining will be very significant. Teams in other conferences will be sensational at times capable of beating anyone and The mega conferences can’t control that. Polls will show that. Rankings will too. People will talk.

It can’t be stopped.

The only way, like I said, is to refuse to play anyone outside of those two conferences, like an NBA team playing a college team. Why do I say that? Because then it makes it so comparisons are only imaginary. It makes it So that no mega team is ever beaten by a regular inferior conference team. In reality, cross play will happen all the time for logistical reasons and mega teams will lose often. Then wonder and doubt starts to creep in. The best of the regular teams will be ranked with the mega teams. It’ll happen. You’ll see.

There must be complete and total separation or they do not have the total control that they want.
