The first moves need to be about survival. The pac 12 sitll has better brands

than the big 12. I would love to leave out UC and Utah. But UW, UO, and Stanford have no desire to be in the big 12. They see themselves as elite academic institutions. The 10 could partner with the ACC and have a western wing. I don't think the Big 12 is secure at all and they need to go for the kill shot and take the most likely teams first - AZ schools and perhaps Utah and UC.

I have said it before if the Big 12 doesn't go after both AZ schools asap I see the Pac 12 winning the survival battle with the big 12.
