I don't think you need all 4 "corner" schools.
Just take the two AZ schools and the same thing happens--without the dead wood of UU and CO.
I think there is a 50-50 chance of the Big 12 getting the 2 AZ schools, Oregon, and Washington.
BUT, I think there is a REAL issue of whether OR and WA are a good enough cultural fit. It may indeed not be worth taking those two at all.
