I had the thought that if Big 12 courts CU and Utah, along with arizona

schools, then they can hold that over UO's and UW's heads without actually have to send CU and Utah an invite. Big 12 needs to get into a position where they say to UO and UW, we want you, ASU, and Stanford, but we will take CU, Utah, ASU and Arizona if you guys don't get on board. Then UO and UW feel the pressure to actually jump ship and Big 12 can limit the number of middling schools they have to invite.
