I mean, if you are one of those schools, you have to convince them that, at the very least, there is no financial benefit to leaving. Because if they do leave, those 4 teams are going to be screwed financially, having made large capital commitments based upon the expectation of future large payouts.

So I could see them begging the other teams to wait and see what the new TV deals look like and pray they come out favorable.

Stanford might have an outside shot at the B1G, but there isn't a sure thing.
