The post is a tweet from Greg Swaim (so probably nonsense idk) saying that CU, ASU, and UA have agreed to join the B12 in principle. Notably, Utah was not included.

Utah gained an enormous amount from its joining the PAC 12… Also, Ute fans f*ing loved holding their P5 conference membership over BYU fans like none f*ing other.

To be reduced to begging BYU, hat in hand, for a seat at their table has to be a confidence hit. So it makes sense Ute fans would vociferously hold on to the PAC 12.
