until the negotiation window ends. We'll see how badly ESPN wants the PAC as is, and how worried they are that another media provider (Apple, Amazon) will come in and outbid them. If they don't raise their offer enough by the end of the 30 day window, then it is clear they are saying to the PAC "take this or leave it" and they are confident they can get the Big12 contract and offer them enough to entice enough PAC schools to bail that it enables them to fill their late night TV slots, combined with BYU.
Isn't it just too amusing to think that by passing on BYU (in the past and recent times), the PAC has allowed the Big12 a foot in the door in the late time slots and it could be their undoing?
