Want to hear your thoughts…

As I have talked to different people, listened to different interviews and podcasts about the expansion on the Big 12 I think the Big 12 should get these 4 teams if possible.
- Arizona
- Arizona State
- San Diego
- Colorado or Utah

One of the reason why I take the AZ schools and SDSU is to have those late night games. The Pac 12 hangs their hat on being able to fill in those late game time slots. Being able to have multiple teams that can fill that time slot will be attractive for the new TV negotiations.

Bringing both AZ schools creates a rivalry within the conference. Potentially bringing in Utah would create the best rivalry in the conference.

I would take San Diego for a couple of reasons. We would have a Southern California team in the conference. It could be good for recruiting. I do know that their fans base needs to grow but so does Houston. New stadium. They only have one professional sports team so they could potentially get some fans back in the stadium playing in the big 12.

For me it’s tricky with Utah and Colorado. I am leaning more towards Utah for the rivalry aspect and I think the big 12 could use a heated rivalry with Texas and OU leaving.

What are your thoughts on this idea?
