I’m really surprised there isn’t more skepticism about the Suns after their
Playoff collapse and how many similarities there are to the Jazz’s recent implosion. Just listened to Lowes podcast with the suns reporter and neither them seemed worried at all, even though as a Jazz fan it was like deja vu.
- borderline historic/unexpectedly great regular season
- equally unexpected and epic playoff collapse
- clear dysfunction between stars in the locker room (one of which is known to have a limited shelf life w/ teammates)
- dependence on an aging PG who could fall of a cliff at any moment
- minimal change in the off season (unless KD happens of course)
It’s obviously not guaranteed they’ll follow the same path but the ingredients to the same recipe are all there, as are many of the same reasons being used for why it won’t happen that way.
