Short answer: yes, long answer:
I'm a baseball guy, it's my favorite sport by far; son played superleague through varsity- it's our thing.
However...
The game is way too long (ill suited for the 21st century)
Very little action
Very few stars
And no salary cap means no parity (the equivalent of the Cleveland Browns making the Super Bowl can't happen in the MLB).
The game certainly won't die in our lifetime, but it will continue to diminish and become much more regional.
