Apologies if I'm missing the obvious, but what does NBC bring to the table for the B1G?
If FOX continues to be the main B1G partner, and Amazon and CBS also show B1G games, how does this deal from NBC benefit FOX, Amazon, and CBS?
This part (quoted below) isn't clear to me (in terms of benefit):
"NBC is pitching a fall Saturday football schedule that includes triple-header coverage of Big Ten games on Fox, CBS, and NBC from early afternoon to night."
How does the triple header of B1G games, on a combo of FOX, CBS, and NBC, on a Saturday benefit from some sort of association with NBC's Sunday Night Football? I'm just not seeing the connection.
