But that plan puts the most dangerous play at the top of the queue.
They could have done this:
2nd down: Run the ball. A safer play. If it doesn’t work, you call TO.
3rd down: Pass the ball. If it’s incomplete you can still run one other play.
Putting the most dangerous play (passing) up first was a mistake. Unless you don’t believe that passing is more dangerous than running, but with Lynch in the backfield I believe it was.
