How many of you view your current job as a stepping stone to the next, higher paying job? I was thinking about college
Coaches/Executives etc and how most of them are on a career path to a terminal career point. That got me thinking, I bet the majority of people on here are on a career path that is hoping to take them to a terminal career choice.

I've been so far removed from this career ladder, since once you finish residency in medicine, you really aren't on a career ladder, unless you want to wear a suit coat.

Would be interesting to see how many are on a career ladder.
