Acting as if the big 12 “just added g5s” is misleading. Big 12 added very good programs one of which made the playoffs, another which has made a few ny6 games which they may have done regardless of the g5 slot. That isn’t including my homerism. The Big12 has consistently shown well in the ncaa tournament too, whereas the pac is a bit sporadic.

Ultimately I believe the PAC will be “fine” but at some point their fans need to grasp reality that they haven’t been good and they lost their two biggest brands. They can’t make that up with Boise or SDSU. (and shouldn’t attempt to). Schools should instead do what the big 12 schools did when they were “down and out” and rise from the ashes.
