Its not just the pac 12. No P5 has ever seriously explored joining to the big 12
At Least not publicly.
Meanwhile, many have left or publicly explored the possibility. It’s just not considered a desirable move. Not sure if that is snobbery or what.
Pac 12 teams might go there but only as an alternative to the mountain west, not as an alternative to the pac or another p5
