Phillips is as impressive as any pitcher this year and has great stuff. Although I wish they would just do away with the traditional closer role and choose the pitcher based off of the situation.

Many of the WS winners over the past several years haven't even had one or a good one in the playoffs- Red Sox in 2018 Kimbrel was used sparingly cause he stunk back then as well, Nats in 2019 - no real dedicated closer; 2020 Dodgers, they had bad Jansen and used him sparingly; 2021 Braves - good high leverage guys but no designated closer.

It's a little overrated and I hope and suspect the Dodgers would really move away from Kimbrel pitching in any critical situations (more than maybe once) in the playoffs similar to Jansen in 2020.
