Saw that former OU running back Joe Mixon commented on situation, basically
saying that this is completely unwarranted and that Gundy is not a racist. Basically said that he spent over 1000 days with him at OU and he never said or did one racist thing, and obviously should not lose his job over this.

My thoughts:

1) Will society believe the people who were in the trenches with him? Or will they just take this situation at face value without context

2) kind of funny what society chooses to get worked up about. Ironically, Joe Mixon completely knocked out cold a girl in a restaurant back in 2013-2014 era when he was at OU. It was BAD. Punched her directly in the face. Video of it is clear as day. And yet he is still playing football and making millions. Society has decided that punching a woman in the face as hard as you can is less severe than accidentally saying a racial slur in this context.

Just interesting.
