Utah is a
Right to work state. An employee can quit at any time for any reason without giving 2 weeks notice. An employer can also fire or let go anyone at any time. Best policy is to give 2 weeks, and that leaves you in better standing with the company. Just the fact that they gave any notice is nice on their part in all honesty.
