...the 2021 team was kind of like the 2nd string for that 2020 team in a lot of areas. Had we played the 2021 season using the 2020 guys who all left early for the NFL we don't lose to Boise St, we don't lose to UAB, we blow out Utah, ASU, AZ, USC and I think with Tonga anchoring our DL and the added strength of Dawe and El Bakri up front we do a much better job neutralizing Baylor's run game and we win that game.

In the case of the Utah game, they returned nearly everyone from their 2020 team for 2021 so in essence it was largely our 2020 backups that beat them in 2021
