as basically SharePoint. I like Slack for messaging and ad hoc meetings. Microsoft’s merging of Skype into Teams was a joke.

You can use either. Based on my experience, Teams stores files in SP.

Yes. He basically told us that Sharepoint is the “older” more clunky platform.

Teams actually uses Sharepoint for file sharing/storage.
