That's something I'm going to try and work my way up to... not ready to dive head first into that right now.
I'm not wanting to go full keto or anything, but I do need to eat a lot less carbs, especially sugars.

Try not eating 3 meals/day. Biologist son has studies showing organisms that eat more often than hunger have problems.
