Accordingly, McMurphy has 40% of his 2022 pre-season top 10 coming from the PAC and ACC. None of the 4 teams he's chosen to bestow this pre-season honor on are Clemson.
Not that I begrudge him leaving Clemson out. I think the AP has them over rated given the offensive issues of last season mixed with the huge loss of Venables at DC. There is a ginormous difference between Clemson pre and post the hiring of Venables. That said, how on earth do you include 4 ACC/PAC schools in your top ten to begin with, but if you're going to go that far out on a limb, how on earth do you exclude Clemson?
