Of course it’s true that some teachers aren’t very committed and don’t put in the extra work after school. These types of people are in every line of work.

And of course teachers get many months off. Even if it’s “only” 2 months in the summer, there’s also fall break, winter break, spring break, which alone is another month off.

There are great arguments about why teachers should get paid more (I know that’s not the topic of this thread), but they are hard to have because some people won’t acknowledge certain obvious realities.
