few years at the end. And he was fortunate to pass before it got super crazy. We prayed fervently he would be able to go and those prayers were answered. By the end he was having bad hallucinations, very few times where he was lucid. But at least when we visited him he knew we were family and people who loved him even if he couldn’t always remember who we were specifically.
