I'm at a high school football game in Utah. Team just attempted a 50 yard field goal and missed. They placed
the ball on the 20.. 1st and 10 the other way.
Why?
Why would a missed fg when the line of scrimmage is the 32 result in 1st and 10 the other way from the 20?
Why ever punt? Just miss fgs .
Anyone know the rules?
