I'm still pumped with adrenaline and shaking from the fight. I get so amped and nervous for him.

His name is Mitch Ramirez and he's from Orem. He went through a really tough stage of his life in his teens. Got addicted to heroine and ended up doing some dumb things that put him in prison for 3 years.

While in prison, he turned his life around. He focused 100% on his dream of becoming an MMA fighter. He exercised and ate as well as he could and left that place a changed man both mentally and physically.

He's been out for a while now and he's still chasing that goal. He is undefeated. Overall I think he's won 10 or 11 fights, but tonight was his 6th pro fight. He has had a heck of a time finding guys who are willing to fight him and his last 3 have no showed or withdrawn at the last minute.

He has moved to Las Vegas and is training with the best. I believe he's legit one of the best in the world - top 10 for sure. He hasn't broken into UFC yet but he will soon i believe.

The dude he fought tonight was 11-3 out of tunisia. He was a highly respected fighter. Mitch cleaned his clock.

I'm so dang proud of this kid and what he's accomplished. He's been through hell and has come out a winner. He was near death multiple times and now he is full of life and hope. If you're an MMA fan keep your eye on him. He'll be in the limelight very soon.
