Looking for a cool adventure? Fly into Baghdad and visit Babylon and Babel.
Tourism is picking up again now that things have settled. You can visit the ancient City of Babylon and Ishtar Gate just an hour south of Baghdad.

And then you can go 20 minutes south and see what a guide told us was the Tower of Babel. It was a flat spot out in the middle of no where with a rubble of rocks.
